Customer Types and Rate Schedules
Summary: Set a customer’s pricing by assigning a Customer Type tied to a billing schedule.

Create Customer Types, then assign one to each customer so orders pick the correct rate table.
What you need
- WinServe+ access
- Appropriate role/permissions (as required)
Steps
Go to **Maintain ▸ Customer ▸ Customer Type**.

Click **New** to add or **Edit** to revise a type (note: Customer Types cannot be deleted once added).

On each customer profile, set the **Customer Type** so rating chooses the right schedule.

Confirm it worked
New orders for that customer pick up the intended rate schedule.
Troubleshooting
If pricing is wrong, confirm the customer’s **Customer Type** and the corresponding rate table entries.
