SQL Right Truncation Error

This error means a field in your order is larger than supported by the function you are attempting to run.

Normally this happens when newer orders try to run on older code (like the photocopy invoice).

The error looks a lot like this:

The best solution is to shorten the field that is too long.

In photocopy that field is the records description on the facility miscellaneous tab.

the billing limit for that field is around 100 characters.

Please shorten or cutoff the records other description to that length.

As of version 8.94 there is an invoice upgrade available to handle larger record descriptions. It is new code and includes cool features like the ability to update the number of volumes and to rearrange the billing items for the invoice. Contact Doug for a demo.

There is an upgrade cost for the new billing software.

Otherwise please shorten the records other description to invoice the order.
