Task View
This tab is an optional feature to WinCopy. It gives the ability to select columns and review jobs that need to be dealt with each day using our action date tickler system. Each time you update action information on the system this tab is updated with current data. You can drill down to the specific jobs that need attention now, instead of looking through your entire book of work. Setup and maintenance of this screen are done under File/Maintenance/Dispatch/Dispatch Tab/Define Columns
Select the criteria you would like to see and the order you would like to see the columns here:
Now that you have your Task tab set up let’s see if there are any Task titles that need to be added or updated under Maintenance/Dispatch/ Next Action:
Okay now let’s enter a status and update its action date by right-clicking
a job on your board and selecting Facility Status:
If you want the Calendar Next Action to appear on your Task tab,
then you will need to check the box for the date box at the bottom of this window.
Anytime you update the calendar action that becomes to next task and overrides
the previous on your board and when querying.
You will need to refresh and/or update the search criteria to get the current list of jobs.
If your board is full of tasks and you are looking for a specific job, you can search for it by going to Inquiry/ Search for Workorder by Action Date:
You can set the date range and select a specific action or specific person assigned to manage the job. So you can set the jobs that need to be handled today and tomorrow and any that are assigned to you by selecting yourself as the action employee.
There is also a calendar on the Task tracking tab on the bottom right. Click a date to see how many jobs need to be reviewed on that day.
The Task Tracking tab has the following right-click functions:
Show Status
Displays the status for that job at the bottom of the screen.
Enter Status:
