Salesman Field: Purpose and Where It Appears

What you need

Steps

  1. Open **Maintain ▸ Customer ▸ Customers** and edit the customer profile.

  2. On the **Salesman** area, select the salesperson code/name for this customer.

  3. Save the profile; the Salesman association is now available for tracking/visibility.

Confirm it worked

The customer shows a Salesman value; web/manager views can filter or review work by that Salesman.

Troubleshooting

If you expect Salesman‑specific reports, note the manual indicates there are currently no specific reports for this field.
