Inquiry: Search Orders and Search by Address

Summary: Build custom list views with SQL wildcards; search by address/business/contact to find prior jobs.

Quick answer

Use **%** wildcards in all fields except phone/ZIP. Uncheck “Show in progress only” to include billed items. Search by Address scans served/court/pickup/delivery addresses.

What you need

  • WinServe+ access
  • Appropriate role/permissions (as required)

Steps

  1. Open **Inquiry ▸ Search Orders**; set filters for Customer, Case Info, Job Type, Milestones, Order Properties, date ranges, branch, or work order ranges.

  2. Click **Search** to load the list; use it to drive downstream actions (edit, proof, rate).

  3. Open **Search by Address** to find jobs by business name, address, contact name, or servee; use **%** wildcard everywhere except phone/ZIP.

Confirm it worked

Your Orders tab reflects the filtered list; actions (edit/rate/proof) are available from the results.

Troubleshooting

If billed items are missing, uncheck **Show In Progress Orders Only**; expand the start date beyond the default 45 days if needed.
