Patient Tab: Core Fields & Tips
Summary: Enter patient identifiers, DOB/DOI, party type, and copy dates; use calendar or typed dates.
Quick answer
Only tick the date checkbox when you intend to set a date; otherwise the date stays blank.
What you need
- WinCopy SQL v9.0.06+
- Appropriate role/permissions (as required)
Steps
Open Patient tab; fill name/aliases, patient ID, DOB/DOI as known.

Use date pickers or type month/day/year; leave unchecked for blank.

Set Party Type and Continuous Trauma if applicable.

Confirm it worked
Dates and identifiers save correctly; downstream documents show accurate fields.
Troubleshooting
If dates print unexpectedly, untick the date checkbox to leave it blank.
