Attachments: add, view, and manage PDFs

What you need

Steps

  1. On the order’s **Attachment** tab, click **Load** and choose the PDF (default folder is **attachments**).

  2. Use **View** to open in your PDF viewer and **Remove** to detach from the order.

  3. Click **Properties** to set **Document Type** (configured in **PDF Type Titles**).

  4. In **PDF Type Titles**, set a **Default** type and mark items with **Dispatch Attachment** to include them automatically in dispatch emails.

Confirm it worked

Attachments appear in the list with the correct type; dispatch emails include items flagged as dispatch attachments.

Troubleshooting

If printed PDFs misbehave, prefer **scanned PDFs** per guidance; if AWS is used, documents open in browser and page counts are calculated automatically.
