Create a Court Work Order

Summary: Enter court, hearing date/time, documents, and fee advances for filings/deliveries.

Quick answer

Use the Court tab to set venue, date/time, department/room, and attach filing documents; prebill fee advances as required.

What you need

  • WinServe+ access
  • Appropriate role/permissions (as required)

Steps

  1. On **Court**, select the **Court**, **Room/Department**, and **Case Number**.

  2. Click the small box next to the court to open the **date/time picker** for **Hearing Date** and **Time**.

  3. Add **Court Instructions** if needed; the court’s address displays for verification.

  4. Attach documents for filing on the **Documents** list; use **Other Documents or Description** for additional items.

  5. Enter **Fee Advance** and check info on the prebill screen if checks are required; check **Dispatch it** and assign a server to dispatch automatically when you click OK.

Confirm it worked

Court, date/time, and documents are saved; fee advances appear in prebill and flow to invoice.

Troubleshooting

If the court isn’t listed, use **Update** to add/edit courts; verify the selected court state matches the intended proof.
