Steps

  1. Open **Maintain ▸ Job Type**.

  2. For each type, set the **Style** (Process/Court/Messenger), default **Plaintiff/Defendant** titles, **Abbreviation** for list view, and starter text for **Special Instructions**.

  3. Save and test by creating an order with that job type.

Confirm it worked

New orders reflect the job type’s style, titles, and prefilled instructions.

Troubleshooting

If abbreviations or labels look wrong in list view, update the job type and reopen the order.
